Recruit Profile
Team player who strives to help her team dominate on the field. Disciplined, coachable and willing to try something new.

I started playing lacrosse for my local Devils Lacrosse Club rec team when I was 8 years old and I have loved the sport ever since I picked up a stick for the first time. During my lacrosse career, I have been a defender, midfielder and attacker. These moves from position to position have provided me with a great skill set that allows me to react to whatever happens on the field.

I am also an avid runner. In junior high school I ran cross country for two seasons and then moved onto winter track in high school When I ran cross country, I was fast enough to qualify for the Meet of Champions and placed in the top 10 athletes.... a first for anyone in my junior high school. Now, as a lacrosse player, I am often one of the first players on my lacrosse team to finish the UMass run test and other run tests we are given during try-outs and practices. I spend most of my free time outside either working on the rebounder, running through the neighborhood or just enjoying the fresh air from the hammock on my back deck.

Academics are very important to me. I strive to do the best I can in everything I do. In a high school with more than 3500 students, it's important to stay focused on academics while also balancing being a part of an athletic team and enjoying social activities. My current GPA is a 3.3 and my favorite subject is biology. I am considering pursuing an education in the health sciences such as exercise science or physical therapy. I am interested in psychology and might want to be a guidance counselor. I also have a job at a local fruit bowl store and volunteer for our local Flemington Moose Lodge.

Being a team player is a very important part of my game because I believe that success among everyone is better than for just yourself. I will pass the ball to a player if I think they have a better shot at the goal and not worry about the score being on my personal stat sheet. I want what's best for the team.
