Profile
Alyssa Guido joined Head Coach Kim Hillier’s staff in the summer of 2021 and will make her Drexel debut in the Spring of 2022.

Guido joins the Dragons after spending the 2021 season as an assistant at Holy Cross. She will assist in overseeing both sides of the ball and work closely with the goalkeepers.

In 2021, Guido only assisted the Crusaders in six games due to season ending complications regarding COVID-19. Prior to her time with Holy Cross, Guido spent two years as the head coach of Maritime College. Maritime battled to a 4-1 record in 2020 before its season ended prematurely due to COVID-19. In her first season at the helm, Guido guided the Privateers to an 8-6 record with a 4-3 mark in the Skyline Conference during the 2019 campaign, with the program posting its first-ever winning season and making its first Skyline Conference playoff appearance. Guido was named the 2019 Skyline Conference Coach of the Year, while four of her players earned all-league recognition.

"Alyssa is one of the most loyal individuals I have ever met," Hillier stated. "Her experience, patience, work ethic and her [earn everything] mentality throughout the years is exactly why she adds to the completion of our family. She has a ton of knowledge and knows what it takes to be a part of a winning culture."

Prior to her time at Maritime, Guido served as a coach, director and account manager with Team 91 Lacrosse. She managed multiple girls' and boys' youth travel teams on Long Island and in Westchester, including oversight of coaching staffs and event directors. Guido also played professionally with the Philadelphia Force of the United Women's Lacrosse League in the summer of 2017.

Guido spent her collegiate career at Stony Brook under the wing of Hillier. A four-year letterwinner, Guido totaled 77 points, 28 goals and 49 assists in 68 career games played. Guido helped Stony Brook to an overall record of 72-11 during her four years, with the Seawolves winning four straight America East regular season and tournament titles, in addition to making four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances.
