Asher comes to CUAA after compiling a 31-5 record in two seasons (2015 and 2016) as the Northville High School Head Coach.

After inheriting the program that was 1-13 in 2014, Asher led Northville to a 15-2 record, including 6-0 conference record, to clinch the school’s first Kensington Conference championship. In 2016, Asher led Northville to a 16-3 record, again recording a 6-0 conference record to clinch a second consecutive Kensington Conference championship and winning the first Kensington Lakes Athletic Association championship in school history.

Prior to her time at Northville High School, Asher was an assistant coach at Albion College. Asher also coaches an elite high school aged team during the summers, Big Cat Lax, which is based out of Novi, MI, and draws players from Genesee, Livingston, Oakland, and Wayne counties.

Asher’s playing career began at Hartland High School. She then attended Adrian College where she played on the first varsity lacrosse team in the State of Michigan during the 2008 season. Asher then transferred to Central Michigan University, where she finished out her playing career on the club lacrosse team. Asher was named a team captain for her junior and senior seasons (2010 and 2011) and was named 1st Team All-League Defense in the Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse League after her senior season (2011 season)

Asher received her B.A. from Central Michigan University in Commercial Recreation and Facilities Management and minored in Event Management and Hospitality Services Administration. Outside of lacrosse, Asher has worked for Northville Parks and Recreation as an Event Coordinator.
