Recruit Profile
Detail oriented, mentally focused, proud defender who loves to study game film and cause turnovers. High Lacrosse IQ and loves to prove people wrong.

My Dad made me play lacrosse in elementary school and I fell in love with it. I loved being on a team and realizing that I could do things that I never thought were possible. Over the years my game has improved each year through hard work and study. In 2018 I was fortunate to be selected to the WPLL championship summit in New Haven. I learned so much in those three days and got to meet and be coached by professional lacrosse players who were once like me. I realized that I wanted lacrosse to be an active part of my life as long as possible.

I started High School in 2022 and I made our varsity Lacrosse team. I started 20 games as a defender and led all defenders in ground balls(25) and caused turnovers (24). We made it to the sweet 16 in the state playoffs for the first time in school history. I enjoy playing anywhere coach puts me, but I take pride in my defense.

Im an honor student with an interest in statistical analysis. I love studying game film and identifying tendencies that we can attack to improve our game plan. I would like to continue playing lacrosse in college and ultimately become a college lacrosse coach.

Anaya has been my client for the past year and all I can say is WOW. Not only is she coachable, but she is the type of player that will actively ask questions in order to get a better understanding of what to do during drills and a game. She shows up to practice ready to learn something new and immediately apply it to the next game. No matter how tired she is, she always gives 100% effort whether it be during practice or during a game. In game play she is aggressive and will be one of the only players to continue fighting for a ground ball until recovered. Although she is heavily defense, her stick skills and speed allow her to play both sides of the field equally. Over the past year I have learned that Anaya is not only focused on improving her skills as a defender but also very focused on being the best student she can be! She does an excellent job balancing her studies with multiple AP classes with her time bettering her athletic talents. She is an absolute leader on and off the field.

I have been an active Girls Club Lacrosse head coach since 2012 & a high school girl’s lacrosse head coach at Sickles HS in Tampa since 2019. I am currently Anaya’s head coach at Sickles High School & with her Tampa Storm club team. Anaya is a very skilled lacrosse player who is an even a better person. I see a lot of talent, hard work, and commitment in her. She is the type of player who is very coachable and who will do whatever is needed for our team. I can always count on her to set a good example for the other players. She is aggressive, goes hard to the ball, and can play both offensively and defensively. In the offensive end she can assist and score equally. But she excels in the defensive end of the field, where she shuts down the opponent's top players, is aggressive towards 50/50 balls and has great awareness for second and third slides, and possesses the ability to adapt to various situations. Her positive attitude and winning mentality do not go unnoticed. Her teammates and coaches all love her!!
