I started playing lacrosse when I was 13, and made the varsity team at both Saint Joe High School and True N. Indiana programs in my sophomore year of high school (my spring season freshman year was canceled due to covid-19). Since grade school I have played midfield on both sides of the ball, although I consider offensive midfield my primary position. I take pride in my work ethic, and put in hours of conditioning and stick work outside of practice. My strengths are include great field vision, step-down shooting, man-to-man defense, and dodging from the midfield. In school, I am taking AP US History, AP Literature, AP Calculus, and a duel credit course in Engineering. I have a GPA of 4.52, and am a member of National Honor Society. Outside of school, I hold 2 part-time jobs, volunteer as a coach at several places (TRUE Lacrosse 10U, Panther Football, SJHS Lacrosse Camp), and enjoy weightlifting and skiing in my free time.

Patrick Townsend
Andrew is an athletic midfielder who has a nice split dodge down the alley and is always looking to be a threat to score the ball. He plays smart lacrosse and does not force things when the slide comes to him. Additionally, Andrew has solid lacrosse IQ and can play both offense and defense. What I am most impressed with regarding Andrew is his character and commitment to the True Lacrosse program. Andrew never complains about anything, does what we ask of him, and always cheers/helps out his teammates.
