Andrew Waldrop

2019 | NV: Henderson

Recruit Profile
self-driven, persistent, coachable, good grades/scores, hard-working, strong-willed, and strong-minded

My name is Andrew Waldrop. I started playing lacrosse when I was in 6th grade and one of my friends invited me to play on a team. I didn't start off as the best player but I worked hard and when I was in high school, I was the only starting junior on defense and one of the few starting juniors on the varsity team. I finished my previous season with 39 ground balls, 1 assist, and 1 goal in 12 games. I am a valedictorian candidate at my high school with a weighted GPA of 4.8. I have taken 5 AP classes, while passing them all with a 4 or higher, and I plan on taking a few more in my senior year. My SAT score and ACT score are both on the above average scale. I am interested in studying in the biomedical engineering field. I am not certain if this is the specific field I want to study; however, I know that I am wanting a field using the concepts of sciences such as biology and chemistry. Outside of school and lacrosse, I volunteer and attend at my local church, Central Christian Church. There I am a part of the teen organization called Fuse and I am in the 412 student leadership program there as well. I volunteer at my church helping set up events for daycares and joining my church in donating and delivering charity drives.
