Hello! I am Anna Carrel, and I have been a lacrosse goalie for seven years.

I love trying new things, being involved within my school community, snowboarding, baking, and playing lacrosse!

I would love to go to a college that is academically driven. I thrive when the school environment around me is rigorous, and I am always up for a good challenge!

I am still exploring different carrier options. This school year, I am taking a heavy load of stem-intensive AP courses to help me decide if that is right for me. I have previously enjoyed psychology studies, and learning about society, people, politics, and the environment.

Being a goalie is a solitary pursuit. I love being apart of the team, leading the defense, and directing plays. But when the opponent's offense breaks through, it often comes down to me being the last line of defense - the last person standing between losing a point, or winning the game. I love that part about being goalie. It can be stressful, but also extremely rewarding - especially if you make that good save, and a solid clear. It makes all the bruises worth it!

I hope to continue playing lacrosse in college - being part of the team, having the camaraderie, and making those epic saves that make the crowd cheer!
