Ever since I was little, I loved playing sports. Growing up with two older brothers, everything was a competition and we always were in the backyard playing some kind of sport and competing against each other. I played soccer for a really long time (local team and travel team) before I tried lacrosse in 2nd grade where I played for my local county team, then went on to play travel. I became very passionate about defense because of my competitive mindset. I am currently a defender for my CC Ultimate Hustle team. I pride myself in 1v1 defense, caused turnovers, my communication skills, as well as clearing the ball to the attack side. I also played for the Ultimate Elite team in the summer of 2018. Although I play defense for my travel team, I wanted to step up and play Midfield for my high school team. I played with the varsity team as an 8th grader and was a starting mid fielder. I received All Conference recognition as an 8th grader and by the end of the season I was the second leading goal scorer for the team. As a freshman, I was the top goal scorer for my team as well as winning more than 50% of the draws. During my freshmen year, I received 1st team All Conference recognition and was named captain of the team for my sophomore season. During my sophomore season, I scored my 100th goal and won 79 draw controls. I received the team 'MVP' award as well as 1st team all conference. I also start for my High school varsity field hockey team and I also run on the Varsity track squad in the winter! Off the field, I'm an A/B student, honor roll both semesters, was recently selected by teachers and administrators to attend our DIAA Athletic Leadership Conference and I am actively participating in the following clubs in school: Student Ambassador, Sportsmanship Committee (invite only) B+ Foundation, Student Activities, Service Club as well as a teacher selected student to conduct interviews for teaching candidates.
