My name is Ansley Young. I am a class of 2023 defender playing for Eagle Stix out of Georgia wearing #23. Our team is ranked #5 Nationally. I am a 4.07 student, born and raised in the south, and I will beat anyone in any game we play with my drive and competitiveness. I have played 22 seasons of Lacrosse with strong Lax IQ and constant training to get better. I predominantly play low defense on the left side of the crease so I am stick side up when attackers are crease rolling. However, I am flexible and can find myself effectively containing out to the twelve meter from the elbows or up top. The majority of my lacrosse career I have been a defender, however, during high school lacrosse I step up to mid field to be a strong leader on the field for my teammates. I was awarded MVP of the 2020-2021 season, and I pride myself in being a natural leader academically and especially in the game of lacrosse.

Though Ansley mostly plays defense with her club team, she has been absolutely essential in many positions on our High School team. She had the most caused turnovers in our 2021 season. Her draw win % is currently 39%. She has 40 goals and 53 points. She is a natural lefty, though skilled with her right as well. She has a mean crease roll and a hard shot. She is extremely coachable and works hard to lead by example.
