Anthony Gallo

Profile
Anthony Gallo finished his third season as an assistant men's lacrosse coach in 2020.

The Knights 2020 season was cut short due to the MAC's cancellation of spring sports, but the Knights got off to a torrid start with five wins in their first seven games - three of which they scored 20 or more goals, while holding opponents to just 9.4 goals per game.

In 2019, the Knights saw their most successful season in program history. The Scarlet & Grey had a program-record nine wins and made their first conference playoff appearance in program history.

Before arriving at Arcadia, Gallo coached with the Abington Lacrosse Club. Gallo was a four-year member of the University of Scranton lacrosse program where he was a long-stick midfielder. Gallo was also a four-year member of the school’s ice hockey team. After graduating, Gallo continued his lacrosse playing career at the University of Dayton while attending law school.

In addition to coaching, Gallo is a senior associate of law locally at Fairlie and Lippy PC. Gallo is a native of Glenside, P.A., and is a graduate of nearby La Salle College High School. He then earned a B.S. in political science from Scranton in 1988 and his J.D. from Dayton in 1991.
