I am a junior on Varsity for both lacrosse and soccer at Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood, NJ and I also play club lacrosse for CLC Pride 2024. As the daughter of a collegiate lacrosse player, one can say I was born into the sport and have always loved it; from running around the field in diapers while my mom coached until I was old enough to play organized lacrosse in second grade; I am most happy on a lax field. I have developed equally strong stick skills with both hands, turning an unfortunate arm break before my 2018 summer season into an opportunity, playing three tournaments with a cast on my dominant arm. In tight situations, I'm able to finish with both hands. I am a strong dodger and cutter on offense who thrives on making the perfect feed to an attacker or receiving the pass resulting in a goal. I pride myself on my strength, drive to improve, speed, overall grit, and high lax IQ. My leadership skills are strong both on and off the field; leading by doing. Along with lacrosse, I play soccer and run winter track at Ridgewood High School. This past year I have been selected to the All Star Team at several showcases and will be representing NJ at AU Futures. Academically, I have a 4.12 GPA at the end of my sophomore year, finishing with straight As, and qualified for Nationals for DECA this spring. I have always been a strong honors level student, taking all core subject classes at the honors and AP level (Junior Year) along with participating in a rigorous medical program at my high school, RAHP, which stands for Ridgewood Academy for Health Professions, where students participate in clinical medical experiences. I am also on Student Government, am a Student Ambassador, a Peer Leader, chapter officer of DECA, a member of the Green Club, and a member of the Unified Sports Club, which brings sports opportunities to students of all abilities and works directly with the Special Olympics; as well as was selected as a member of the leadership organization ALPS. In my free time I coach a youth lacrosse team in my town, give private lessons in both lacrosse and soccer and enjoy spending time with friends and family.
