Profile
Ashley Holdridge joined the SUNY Morrisville staff as head coach of the women’s lacrosse program in the Spring 2021 season.

Holdridge comes to SUNY Morrisville from fellow Division III member Cedar Crest College where she served as head coach of the women’s program for the past two seasons and the department’s recruiting coordinator. Under her guidance, nine student-athletes were selected to the All-CSAC teams, while raising the academic profile of the lacrosse program.

As a member of the Falcons community, Holdridge also served as a contributor to the Athletic Implementation Team that assisted with department diversity and the creation of the Black Athlete Student Union, serving as co-Advisor.

During her time in Allentown, Holdridge also was also involved with T3 Lacrosse, serving as head coach and goalie coach for the elite travel team. She is also an active member of US Lacrosse and the IWLCA, serving as a member of the Continuing Education Committee and Mentor-Mentee Program.

The former Division I lacrosse goalkeeper played four seasons for Siena College completing her career with 49 game appearances while fulfilling a vital role in two MAAC tournament appearances with the program. She was a MAAC All-Rookie Team selection and Defensive Player of the Week honoree.

Aside from success on the field, Holdridge was also a MAAC All-Academic Team honoree, was named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, and was the women’s lacrosse selection for the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award.

Not a stranger to lacrosse in Central New York, Holdridge began her coaching career within her hometown of Syracuse, having stints with the Syracuse City School District in basketball, and serving as an assistant varsity coach for East Syracuse-Minoa High.

Holdridge competed for Nottingham High School for three seasons, earning Section III Scholar-Athlete honors and 2012 CNY Scholar-Athlete of the Year accolades. She also competed in basketball.

Aside from her duties as head coach, Holdridge will also serve on the staff in the college's Fitness Center, overseeing social media and marketing efforts for the facility.
