Hi, I'm Aubrey Olson and I am a 2024 defender/midfielder. I started playing lacrosse in 7th grade and my love grew stronger as I transitioned to high school. As a freshman, I was a JV utility player and I was moved up to Varsity for the second half of our season and through CIF. I won defensive player of the year on my JV team and I was given my varsity letter. As a sophomore, I started every season and CIF game on defense. My team went 11-0 in league and 20-3 overall. We worked hard and we worked together, which allowed us to make it to the CIF 2A Finals in the Inland Empire. Unfortunately, we fell short and we were named CIF Runners-up. Now that I am beginning my junior year, I am preparing myself for this high-school season. I find myself more motivated than ever; especially knowing how our last season came to an end. I owe it to myself and to my team to put 110% effort into this season and I am determined to make it back to the finals again this year.

In my junior year, I became apart of USB Leadership and the 2024 Executive Board. I take pride in my leadership abilities and the skills that I have learned through these positions.

An interesting fact about me is that I have been the Kicker for my high-school football team since my freshman year. I became a varsity starter in my sophomore and junior year. Being apart of the football team has taught me how to work under pressure and how to communicate with my coaches.This season, I was chosen to be apart of the Elite Leadership Program for our team. I was also awarded First Team All-League, Scholar Athlete, and Team Captain.. Being the only girl on the team has been a unique experience that I will never forget, but most of all, it taught me to have confidence in myself and to trust that my hard work will pay off.

Another thing about me is that I am currently enrolled in AP Language/Exposition, APUSH, and AP Art History. This semester I ended with a 4.1 GPA and I was awarded Student of the Month for my AP Language/Exposition class. In college, I hope to find a major regarding Health Science and/or Fire Science and graduate with my Bachelor's degree.
