Team Player with a strong work ethic- coachable and always striving to improve as a student and athlete.
I first was introduced to lacrosse when I was in elementary school by the older boys in my neighborhood. I knew that one day I would play but it took some convincing for my mom to allow me to try out . So I was involved in other sports while growing up and developed my athletic skills- I swam competitively and participated on volleyball, golf and cheer teams. When I moved from Indiana to Illinois I was excited for the opportunity to try out as a freshman for the lacrosse team. I earned a spot on the varsity roster. I am currently a junior and a starting midfielder. I play off season on a club team as a defender and midfielder that takes the draw. My ability to be a flexible athlete makes me an asset to my teams.I am a member of the junior class board and participate in honors choir at my school. For the past 3 years I have volunteered for various Chamber of Commerce community events.
