August Krauszer
Recruit Profile
Coachable, competitive, team-oriented player with superior Lax IQ and many years of lax experience who provides meaningful contribution towards success of team's defined goals in each game and practice.
I began playing lacrosse when I was 8 years old. I started playing in a local rec league and quickly fell in love with the sport. Since 6th grade, I have been playing on a travel/club lacrosse team in the state of Florida. The club is Lax Maniax. I am currently part of their College Development Program team and travel for tournaments throughout the east coast during Fall and Summer seasons. I am currently a sophomore in high school and in my second Varsity season on my school lacrosse team... Bishop Moore Catholic High School. My biggest attributes on the field are my ball control/stick skills (both hands), field awareness (head up looking for cutters/feeds), forcing turnovers on the "ride", footwork, and my ability to use my size to my advantage in 1:1 opportunities against slower defenders. I am currently taking all honors courses in my high school and generally make all "A"s. My team and I contribute clothing and time each year to our team "cause" to help underprivileged children in Dominican Republic. I also volunteer my time to helping mentally handicapped children learn sports during the summer months and during the school year when time permits.

August is a threat from all over the attacking end of the field. She has a high level lax IQ from the X position on either side as a duel threat to either roll the crease or feed a cutter. She is also one of the hardest workers in the attacking ride that I have had the privilege of coaching. August always has a positive attitude and will do what you ask of her on the field.
