Hi! My name is Avery Del Col and I play defense and midfield for The Rivers School's varsity lacrosse team, where I have been elected Co-Captain for my junior year. I led my team in caused turnovers and we finished fifth in the ISL. I also play defense and midfield for Mass Elite's 2024 team, which I’ve been a part of for six years. During the past year, I have been selected for the American Select Massachusetts Red Team for July 2022; the National Lacrosse Tournament MA/RI Team 3, on which I competed in May 2022 in Maryland; and the Under Armour All-America Command Team for New England, which I competed on in July 2021. I began playing lacrosse in third grade in my hometown of Wellesley, and I immediately fell in love with the game. I love the pace and speed of play as well as the competition, and I’m excited every time I step on the field. I also play varsity soccer at Rivers, and I enjoy surfing and spending time with friends and family.
