Rising Junior from Pittsburgh, PA. I love lacrosse and want to play at a competitive level in college. I am a midfielder with strong defense and speed. I have played soccer since I was young and started playing lacrosse in 4th grade until my family had to relocate to Shanghai, China for 3 years. Since there was not a lacrosse program in Shanghai I continued to play soccer & ran track at school. I worked with my dad who played lacrosse and during the summers I would attend lacrosse camps in the US.
Once we moved back to the United States I was committed to playing lacrosse. I joined my club team, True Pittsburgh Lacrosse and played on the combo True National team. I was the leader on my High School JV Lacrosse team in 9th grade and also was a Crossover player for Varsity. I look forward to my upcoming Varsity Lacrosse season and making a difference on my team. I am constantly learning how to become the best teammate and player that I can be. I am very coachable and always looking to learn more. My speed is one of my key strengths and the way that I can see what is happening on the field & react. In my off season, I continue to play soccer for my high school varsity team, this keeps me in shape. I know I have what it takes to be a student athlete in college.
In the classroom, I am a strong student and take higher level courses to push myself. I love math and sciences and plan to work with children in the medical field someday. I am on my 3rd year in Mandarin as my foreign language, continuing what I started in Shanghai. I was elected as class Senator in our Student Government. In addition, I work with special needs children in my PE class and as a TopSoccer mentor. I also volunteer at the local food bank & my church.
