I started to play lacrosse when I was just in third grade. I was also playing several other sports, but my main focus my basketball and lacrosse. Throughout the years, I have strived to improve my overall playing and strengthen my skills of lacrosse. Defense was always my main position in the game and I enjoy playing this position since I believe that defense inspires everyone to work hard on the field, including the middies and attackers. Before high school, I was on two club teams for about four years, and both teams and I won serveral tournament championships. For high school, I was one of the two only freshman to play on varsity, and I was the only freshman to start the game for the majority of the season. I love to hustle, especially after those ground balls, I am also comfortable playing attack as well, I help crash on the ball as early as I possibly can, and I am comfortable with both hands. We also had a great season record and shocked our fierce competition when we came out with a win. Besides lacrosse, I played basketball for as long as I played lacrosse, and I made it on my JV basketball team. Next year, I wish to play volleyball in the fall since the sport has sparked my interest. Most of my classes in high school are honor courses and I hope to have AP classes next year since I want to excel as much as I can in my academics. In college, the major I would like to study is journalism or psychology.
