Considering the fact my immigrant parents had no idea what lacrosse was, I began playing lacrosse in 6th grade. My love for the game grew immensely as I began to play for Belles Lacrosse Club in 7th grade. When I began playing, I played attack but by 8th grade my club coach converted me into a strong aggressive defender. Ever since, I have continued to strengthen my man-on-man defense as well as enhance my footwork to improve my defensive positioning. I have acquired a strong Lax IQ in conjunction with fluidity with both hands. I am a very strong team player, as well as a natural leader. I tend to lead by example, and motivate my teammates with inspirational words.

During my short high school lacrosse season, I was asked to play on varsity along with 2 other students in my class during our indoor season, along with receiving varsity playing time during our only scrimmage. Although I lost my freshman season due to COVID, I am more than prepared to have a great sophomore season. In addition to playing lacrosse, I also play varsity field hockey.

Moreover, my love for school is evident considering I am currently enrolled in 3 AP classes as a sophomore and in 5 other honors courses. I was in all honors my freshman year and resulted in the top 5% of my class with a class rank of 1 out of 358. My plan is to continue taking AP courses as well as honors courses in my junior and senior year.

To conclude this bio, it is important to note who I truly am. I strongly believe the connection between a team is vital for the team to grow and enhance as players. I try to make my teammates feel comfortable by making witty jokes and by trying to include everyone. Although some of my jokes are bad, well... maybe a majority, I simply want to make everyone feel welcomed. I genuinely want to be the best player I can be, however, I also want my teammates to be the best players they can be as well. All things considered, I walk onto every field with the same mindset: I am here to play my best and leave it all out on the field. One day I hope one day to be playing at a higher level with this mindset.
