Former Jacksonville standout and associate head coach, Orashen spent six seasons on the Jacksonville staff and was elevated to associate head coach for the 2020-21 season. She helped lead the Dolphins to their first NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance in program history in 2021.

"I am so excited to welcome Brittney to The Farm," said Spencer, who enters her third season at the helm of the program. "Brittney is a proven winner, and a respected coach and role model for young women. I look forward to seeing what kind of impact she will have on our program."

With Orashen on staff, the Dolphins captured four ASUN Tournament titles while winning the league's regular season championships five times. In capturing the 2019 ASUN Championship, the program made waves by hosting an NCAA Tournament game for the first time in history, defeating Mercer in the first round.

Under Orashen's guidance, Jacksonville was regularly ranked in the top 10 in the NCAA for both scoring defense (2019 3rd; 2017 6th; 2021 9th) and caused turnovers per game (2016-19, 2021).

In 2021, Orashen helped the team achieve a 3-0 conference record, followed by earning its fourth straight, seventh overall ASUN Conference Title. The team also garnered its seventh NCAA Tournament bid and went to the second round for the first time in program history.

Orashen played at Jacksonville from 2011-15, earning ASUN Defensive Player of the Year twice, and landed on the ASUN All-Conference and All-Tournament teams four times each. She is all over the JU record book, as the all-time leader in ground balls and is second all-time in caused turnovers and third in draw controls, while also scoring more than 100 goals in her storied career.

Orashen earned her Bachelor of Science from Jacksonville's Davis College of Business in 2014 and subsequently earned her Master's of Business Administration from the college's nationally ranked program in 2015.
