Brookelyn Batzing
Recruit Profile
Coaches have described me as extremely athletic and coachable.
Lacrosse, soccer and indoor track. I am a committed team player and student athlete for the Corning-Painted Post School District as well as respective club teams. Coaches have described me as extremely athletic and coachable.
From Kindergarten to 7th grade, it was Coach Volpe and our local Corning-Painted Post youth league that kept me connected to my stick and growing and developing my lacrosse skills. Our team excelled against the larger club teams in the Rochester area and we had fun making an impact at many local and regional tournaments in the Rochester, the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier of New York.
In addition to lacrosse, I have also been committed to a travel soccer club team competing locally, regionally and nationally. As a freshman, I became the starting Varsity Team center midfielder.
As a freshman I also made the Varsity Lacrosse team which consistently has multiple competitive D1 commits each year. As a 10th grader, I was a starting player for the varsity lacrosse team.
I have an extremely strong academic record and I am presently in the top 5% of my class of 350 students. I started taking honors level courses as an 8th grader. I continue to challenge myself with AP classes and I am presently enrolled in International Baccalaureate courses as a junior. I have received multiple academic and leadership awards.
Giving back to my school and local community is also important to me. In school, I am a member of the Key Club and my class Student Council. I am active with volunteering and leadership opportunities in my community too.
