I was recruited by an in-town Lacrosse coach in 2017, after watching me play defense in hockey. He liked my aggressive, take-no-prisoners attitude. I was hooked on Lacrosse after my first season!
I volunteer a lot of my time in the winter to a special needs Hockey League (GTHA Challenger League). My younger brother has autism and volunteering just made sense to me. (He plays as well). Working with the kids and seeing their faces light up when you walk onto the rink is a feeling I can't explain! I want to play Lacrosse in college and one day run a special needs Lacrosse league.
Because of my experience with special needs, my goal is to become a Special Education Teacher. I'm looking forward to the future!
