My name is Buse Balik. I play defense. I am a junior attending Cinnaminson High School in NJ. I speak two languages (Turkish and English), and take two AP classes (Psychology and US History 2). My academic interest in college is to be a biology or psychology major on a premed track. I started playing lacrosse my freshman year in high school, and immediately feel in love with the sport. I have very skilled footwork, and am skilled in one on one defense. I have been playing soccer my whole life and picked up the sport of lacrosse really quickly. I would love to continue playing lacrosse throughout my college career competitively, and grow more as a player and student. My sophomore year I was put in the varsity practice squad for my high school team, and saw action in 3 varsity games. I am looking forward for my junior season to hopefully win league and South Jersey Group. I started to play lacrosse for SJS, initially as an alternate and was given a roster spot before our first tournament in the fall of 2019. I am apart of S.T.O.P. club at my high school, which focuses on giving awareness for underage drinking.
