Hardworking student-athlete. Great field vision and high lax IQ. Coachable, passionate, and energetic two-sport athlete. Aggressively stops fast breaks and comfortable taking the ball to offense.
I started playing lacrosse in 8th grade. I made varsity basketball and lacrosse my freshmen year where I was a starter on both teams and was awarded Rookie of the Year for lacrosse. During my sophomore year, I was named captain for varsity basketball and varsity lacrosse defensive MVP. During my Junior year, I joined the JROTC Raiders team, became a captain for varsity lacrosse and was awarded defensive MVP for the 2nd time. I also made the All Cape-Coast Conference team and highest ranked defender in the conference. During my sophomore and junior season, I averaged 26 caused turnovers and 79 ground balls per season. I have played club lacrosse since I started playing in 8th grade and continue to play club for Space Coast Yeti- Silver. I have been a starter on the club team since 9th grade, and this summer we competed in the 7v7 Heatwave tournament where we won the championship for the High school- A team bracket. During the six games in the tournament, I scored 9 goals and assisted more. I am comfortable taking on talented players and stopping their fast breaks as well as causing a turnover and taking the ball to the offensive end. I am an honors, dual-enrollment, and AP Spanish student. I am the president of my high school's Earth club and volunteer a lot of my time to beach clean ups, community beautification projects, and our school's butterfly garden. I also work as a lifeguard and water safety instructor during the summer and fall. I take my education very seriously and am interested in pursuing a bachelors in either Nursing or Psychology.
