Recruit Profile
Creative leader with two-way middie skills who has the desire to excel in a sport I love. 1st on field/last off
I started playing lacrosse in 5th grade. I was on the Varsity HS team as a freshman and continued to refine my skills as the season progressed. My summer after my freshman year, I made the all-star teams at both the TX Draw & the T-99 Showcase.
My sophomore season in HS, I was a starting Varsity midfielder and occasional face-off specialist. I was awarded the Varsity MVP for 2018 and had the highest points for the spring season (26 goals, 5 assists, 50 GBs, 30 caused turnovers). I was selected as a captain for the 2018-19 season for McKinney Lacrosse Club. I was also named a THSLL All-State Honorable Mention for 2018.
My 2018 summer schedule was challenging but I was named on the all-star teams at every tournament I participated in (TX Draw, T-99, Jake Reed Nike Blue Chip, Adrenaline Western Shootout) and I was invited to play in the UA 2020 Uncommitted Showcase. I won the fastest shot at the UA tournament with 102 mph.
I prefer a fast paced offense that allows for creativity. I am a creative dodger and can finish with either hand. Defensively I can be a threat as well and was 3rd on our Varsity team in caused turnovers my sophomore season.
I am taking AP US History this year and have taken several Pre-AP/honors classes previously. I am a member of the MHS theater, photography & a/v production and am the anchor for MHS1 (high school news production). I volunteer coach two youth lacrosse teams and also volunteer yearly with Carry The Load and Snowball Express. I enjoy giving back to our veterans and to our Gold Star families. Another hobby is music. A few years ago a few friends and I started a band. I enjoy playing electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass and drums.
