Cameron Rohrer
Recruit Profile
Coachable, clutch player, adjusts well and strong leadership. Soft, quick hands. Loves practicing and big games.
I started playing lacrosse for my recreational spring team in 2nd grade. Up until high school, I had played football, basketball, hockey, baseball, and soccer. I started off playing midfield but decided to switch to goalie in 4th grade. I then transitioned from my recreational spring team and moved on to play for True Pittsburgh and PYLAX. I would travel 45 minutes to an hour to these practices and games to get the best competition in Pittsburgh. Since then, I've been with True Pittsburgh for 5 years. This fall I was invited to play with True National 2022 Green, where I was given team MVP for the weekend. My top two academic interests are history and algebra. I enjoy history because I like learning about how or why our world and culture is the way it is today and how one battle or one meeting could have totally changed the world. I enjoy algebra because it gives me a challenge. As a sophomore I am taking both geometry and algebra II in order to push myself and build a good work ethic off the field. When I'm not playing lacrosse, I enjoy volunteering to coach lacrosse at my middle school. I also enjoy skiing, fishing, and having a good time with my friends.
