I started playing lacrosse at age 12. After my 8th grade club season in the Spring of 2017 I was invited to play for Amplify Lacrosse, a club Wisconsin traveling team out of Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. The Summer of 2017 for "Team Amplify 2021" I started at close defense or LSM. I learned a great deal about defensive Lacrosse and the value of playing against great competition. Our biggest team achievement was winning a tournament. During my freshman year of high school lacrosse I set goals to make the varsity team, be a starter and earn All-conference honors. I made the varsity team, was a starter by the second game, was awarded all conference honorable mention, and earned team defensive MVP as a Freshman. I am very comfortable with clearing the ball, using my speed and can make moves past midfielders. I had 5 assists and a goal as a defenseman during my first season in high school. I pride myself on straight up man-to-man defense, being aggressive with the long pole while still able to contain the offensive player. As a multi-sport athlete, I hope to play varsity football as a Sophomore and have been voted a captain by my peers every year I have played football. I know football teaches me skills and discipline I can use on the lacrosse field. I am a student athlete. I earned straight As and took a college level Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Biomedical course my freshmen year. I am taking AP American History, PLTW Body Systems, as well as Accelerated Chemistry during my sophomore year.
