I started playing lacrosse when I was 11 years old for Coatesville Youth Lacrosse. My team was the first of this program, for a sport that was fairly new to our youth community. Since then, I fell in love with lacrosse and the memories I've created. I was awarded a starting varsity defender position my freshman year of high school. Along with lacrosse, I enjoy playing both indoor and outdoor field hockey for Coatesville Area Senior High School's varsity team. I joined Belles Travel Lacrosse when I was in 8th grade, and have continued to play with them these past 4 years. I am comfortable with the way I have been taught to defend, but I also take pride in being a coachable athlete, and being open to new suggestions. As strong as my love for the game of lacrosse is, I value the importance of being a student athlete. I am a member of the National Honor Society, and the Coatesville Area High School Leadership and Honor Society. I am also currently enrolled in the Delaware County Community College Pathway Program with Coatesville Area High School, which allows me to earn college credits as a high school student. In addition, I am in a duel enrollment program with Harrisburg University. When I am not on the lacrosse field, you can catch me hanging with friends, working, at the gym, or volunteering in my local community. Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to volunteer at my church and as a summer camp counselor for local inner city children. I cherish the time spent with these kids, as I am able to pour love into their lives, that is often missing from their homes. In addition to finding a school with a lacrosse program that works best for me, I am seeking to further my education with a Biology Pre-Med Major.
