Fast, disciplined, determined, coachable team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication. Strong lax IQ developed via agility training, middle/high school, club and travel team participation since 2017.
I started playing lacrosse in sixth grade and I am committed to doing my personal best on and off the field. During the global pandemic I actively participated in weekly personal agility training while also part of a travel team. In addition I competed in six major lacrosse tournaments during this time. Off the field I increased my community service activities by helping collect and distribute food and make homemade journals for adults and children going through hard times medically. I also welcomed new students to my school and hosted a socially distanced walk to support pediatric cancer victims. Going into my junior year I will be on torch which is the equivalent to Student government everywhere else. Academically I am challenging myself by learning a new language. My additional goals include continued tournament play.

I had the pleasure of coaching Carlyssa throughout her Middle School playing days, as well as coaching her for a couple of seasons at the High School level. I also was fortunate to have been Carlyssa's physical education teacher from first through fifth grade. Having known Carlyssa for 12 years, it has been a joy to watch her grow, mature, and become a strong and confident young woman. Carlyssa is vocal when she needs to be, but does not over speak or drown out the voices of others. She has a great sense of humor and is well-liked by her peers and able to connect. I would endorse Carlyssa to be a part of any team as a strong asset and positive addition to a program.
