I grew up in Southeastern, PA and started playing lacrosse in second grade for Twin Valley. I realized that lacrosse was my sport from a young age, so I started playing travel lacrosse for the Elite PA Express team in fifth grade. In eighth grade my family moved to Northeastern, OH where I now play for Major Force Lacrosse 2023 Black and varsity for Revere High School. If you were to ask one of my teachers or coaches about my attributes or most apparent qualities, I believe they would say that I am hardworking, community/team-focused, and a leader. The value of hard work was instilled in me as a child as a result of growing up on a farm, which required manual work and daily chores before school and practices. In my off-season I participate in indoor track and train for long jump and the 100m. Throughout my high school career I have maintained a high GPA despite my full athletic, extracurricular, and work schedule. By taking initiative and creating opportunities for myself at team lifts and on the field, I was given the privilege of being the only freshman on varsity and a starting position. Since I moved to Akron, I have developed an interest in growing the game here in Ohio because of the lack of lacrosse in the area. From helping at sports camps or clinics to helping coach fall-ball for the youth leagues, I have begun to make growing the game a priority through the high school team and also individually. I am involved in community outreach programs for my church and team such as volunteering at food banks and participating in Feed My Starving Children. I strive to be a leader in everything I am involved in, whether I am at a team workout, practice, or in the classroom. I am involved in class council and Kids-for-Kids, which both accentuate the philosophy of leading by example. I also put the team's needs in front of my personal desires and recognize the value of team camaraderie and strive to be a mentor to the lower classmen, encouraging them to give their best effort in everything they do by attending morning runs, agility training, and workouts.
