Leadership, intensity, and enthusiasm are what I bring to my defensive unit every practice and every game. I have played for the Snipers Elite Club lacrosse team since the 6th grade as a defensive midfielder. As a 9th grader, I started for my high school varsity lacrosse team and rarely came off of the field. We finished as New York State sectional semi-finalists in my freshman season and sectional finalists in my sophomore season. I pride myself on my athleticism, speed, hustle, and lock-down 'D.' Throughout my years of playing lacrosse, I have learned and am dedicated to strong 1-v-1 and help defense while being very aggressive in getting the ball out of the defensive end. I also enjoy playing soccer (JV captain) and track. Academically, I am enrolled in three AP courses and two honors courses as a junior; I consider myself a thoughtful and conscientious student. I am also an active member of the Cancer Awareness Club, the Be The Change Club, the Big Picture Foundation nonprofit organization and our high school band (flute). My unweighted grade point average is above a 96. In my free time, outside of school, I have been fortunate to be able to travel internationally in an effort to help and volunteer in lesser developed communities these past two summers. In particular, I have really enjoyed working with children. I have a really close family which includes a sister and two brothers.
