I have been playing lacrosse since the age of seven. Prior to a position change to goalie, my lacrosse career was primarily running attack and some midfield. I was fortunate to participate in the 2017 World Series of Lacrosse playing midfield. Upon entering my freshman year, I became a starting attackman on the varsity team and in three games, finished with one goal and five assists. Prior to our fourth game of the season, my coach said he needed me to play goalie due to our goalie situation. I accepted the challenge, as it gave our team the best shot at competing. After a 16 save performance against one of the top high schools in Colorado, I was hooked! I achieved a high level of success throughout the remainder of the season, finishing with a 61% save rate (137 saves/224 shots) and improved during a shortened sophomore season, finishing with a 69% save rate. I have received tremendous feedback and encouragement from coaches and trainers with regard to my ability and athleticism which will translate to the next level. I believe I am one of the more athletic goalies you will watch, and have a very high lacrosse IQ. I know that I can compete at the next level and with hard work, continued training, film study and a strong passion for the game, I will continue to be successful.
