Recruit Profile
Coaches have always counted on my grit. I come early, stay late and go harder than the guy across from me, every day.

I started playing lacrossse in the second grade. At the time I was a big into baseball, but because of my neighbor, Brandon Mullins (Syracuse defender), I began to take an interest in lacrosse. I played for my local city team, but eventually tried out for the travel team Coast 2 Coast in the third grade. I bounced around all positions due to my athleticism and willingness to be flexible; however, I always had a love for defense. I finally settled down as a short stick defense middie for a few years. By the time I made it to high school, I was a competent middie both ways. My journey to playing long pole began when one of my teammates was injured, and a close defensemen was needed, and I happily threw my hat in the ring. Long story short, I played well, and my coach began to play me at LSM and close defense. Currently I am a starting close defensemen on varsity, and pride myself on my one on one defense, and my ability to dictate my oponent. As captain of my JV team I learn valuable leadership values such as communication and hard work. As an academic student, I am very committed, taking AP World History, AP Language Composition, AP Environmental Science, AP Micro and Macro Economics in just two years. I also had a poetry piece included in our schools literature magazine. I live in the gym, played middle school football, did crew my freshman year, and wrestled for two years. Aside from athletics, I play the guitar, and enjoy hunting and fishing.
