Chris Bobbie
Recruit Profile
Coachable with the ability to learn and improve on mistakes. Not afraid to get physical for ground balls. Always determined to assist and communicate with team for better success.
I started playing lacrosse when I was 14 in 8th grade for my club team the North Valley Predators. I quickly grew comfortable with the sport and earned a starting spot as a close defensive pole. Heading into my freshman and sophomore year at Boulder Creek High School, I withheld the starting spot as succeeded with being one of the more efficient ground ball teammates on JV with an added 2 goals before my season was cut short due to COVID. The start of junior year I worked hard on my lacrosse IQ and earned a rotational spot as a LSM on my varsity state championship team in which we went 14-1. My first year with Team 48 I earned a starting position as a close pole and promoted good communication while picking up a good amount of ground balls along with it. I was able to learn and enforce a sense of leadership and confidence with my teammates besides me, whether it was another defender or goalie. My athletic abilities from other sports gave me advantages by having the skills to be fast and get around the field at all times. I also play on the varsity football team and still maintained a 4.72 GPA with taking 5 AP courses throughout the school year. In my spare time I volunteer at sports games and other events for my school's honor society, more recently a lacrosse camp for new boys and girls desiring to learn the sport of lacrosse.
