Head coach Michael Corrado has announced the hiring of Chris Miller to the Villanova men’s lacrosse staff for the upcoming 2017-18 season.

Miller will serve as an assistant coach and defensive coordinator.

Corrado states, “I am excited to welcome Chris Miller to our coaching staff. He brings over 10 years of college coaching experience with him to the Main Line. We can't wait to get started!”

Last season Miller served as the assistant coach at the University of Vermont where he was the offensive coordinator. During his year, the Catamounts were the 9th in shot percentage in the NCAA. Also Miller served as the recruiting coordinator helping add 18 to Vermont’s Class of 2021.

Prior to Vermont, Miller spent five years at Washington College as the Associate Head Coach where he helped the Shoreman win the 2014 Centennial Conference Championship. As the offensive coordinator he helped with recruiting, scouting, film breakdown, and was also the assistant coach for professional development for the athletic department.

Miller also served as an assistant coach at Sacred Heart, Washington & Lee, Virginia Military Institute, and his alma mater, Wesley College.

A three-time All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference first-team selection, Miller scored 144 career points at Wesley. He was named to the All-ECAC South second team in 2003 and his team's offensive Most Valuable Player in 2004. As a senior, he served as a team captain. In 2017, Miller was inducted into the Wesley College Athletics Hall of Fame.

"I am very grateful for the opportunity to join the Villanova University community and Men's Lacrosse program," shared Miller. "I think Villanova University is the perfect balance of academics, athletics, and faith. I am excited to recruit, mentor, and develop high caliber student-athletes from all over the country."
