At 13 years old, my Mad Dog Lacrosse team made it to the Semi-finals of the World Series of Youth Lacrosse. My high school, Torrey Pines, is consistently ranked by MaxPreps in the top 15 programs across the country. I have consistently been the 1st or 2nd fastest player on the team the past two seasons and that is due to my fitness and commitment off the field. In 2018, I initiated a project to introduce lacrosse to an orphanage in Malaysia. We secured a donation of 50 sticks, balls and 2 nets, and my family traveled to Langkawi to teach lacrosse to fifty 7-8 year old boys. This is one of my community service highlights, but just one of many. Our team partners with Harlem Lacrosse out of Los Angeles, and in 2019, we hosted their players for a weekend of clinics, games and I was lucky enough to host 3 boys at my house for the weekend. During COVID-19, our weekend with them was interrupted, so we did Zoom calls to help them keep on track with their assignments and schoolwork. During a normal school year, our team bonds through many community service events including packaging food at Feeding America, offering tutoring assistance and after school help to the local elementary school, and teaching lacrosse clinics to an under-privileged school. I would love to join a college program that also makes an effort to support their local community.

In the classroom, I have a weighted 4.4 GPA. I have been unable to take the ACT (or SAT) because of the test dates have been cancelled since March. I am following the Business pathway at Torrey Pines, and look forward to continuing my education focusing on Finance or Economics.

The last 4 years I have been playing for the Adrenaline RC Starz club here in San Diego where we consistently are in the top bracket at the major tournaments including Sandstorm.

My sister plays D1 Lacrosse, and I know that I have the similar work ethic to balance both academic and a rigorous athletic schedule during school.
