Lacrosse is a balance of skill, endurance, competition, and team. This is what draws me to continue to improve today and in the future. It all started when I began playing in 2nd grade going after a ground ball. My passion has grown ever since. The game has become a central part of my life. As a midfielder, I contribute to all aspects of the game. My strong footwork and quick dodging create separation on offense. I am a leader in goals and assists on my club team. Utilizing my speed and perseverance, I dominate as the wing on the draw circle. My constant draw wins create many offensive opportunities and fast breaks. Defensively, I am reliable one on one as well as a part of a unit. I understand communication is the backbone for a successful defense. Playing varsity as a sophomore allowed me to develop my game to a higher level with other college-bound teammates. Our team led the school to its first league and district championships in history in 2021. In addition, I am a second-year starter for the varsity field hockey team. I translate my determination on the field to the classroom; achieving accolades in STEM, french, and art. I consider myself a hard worker in whatever I put my mind to, whether a school project, AP classes, and service, or a loose ball.
