I started playing lacrosse when I was in third grade; following in my brother's footsteps. In seventh grade I joined a travel team in the spring, along with my summer team, so that I could face better competition. I played as a two way midfielder, which led to me making the varsity lacrosse team as a freshman. I am comfortable playing as a defensive or offensive midfielder, and my athleticism makes me able to excel on the field at all times. In seventh grade, I played on the NXT Inter-Ac New Jersey all-star team. We played against the Pennsylvania Inter-Ac team at Villanova's lacrosse stadium. During the summer going into freshman year, I was invited personally to play in the NXT Philly summer showcase. I had a great showing and was even selected to the Fab-Forty all-star game. Another sport I used to compete in was track and field. Due to my speed, I was put on the track team in eighth grade, where I competed both individually and on relay teams. I was also able to lead my team to the Penn Relays, where we went against the fastest people in the country! Along with athletics, I am also very invested in my academics. I have a major interest in the study of Arabic, and recently applied for a study abroad program. If selected, this program would take me to Morocco for six to eight weeks next summer to be immersed into the culture where I can further my studies. Over Thanksgiving I am traveling to Italy through my school, so that we can study the culture and architecture of the country while strengthening our Catholic faith. I also have had a variety of volunteer work, including community service in the city of Camden, NJ. I worked with the Volunteers of America, helping to get people off of the streets. I also worked in a Cathedral Kitchen, where I helped serve meals to the homeless.
