Connor Doyle

Connor Doyle is entering his first season at the helm of the UAH men’s lacrosse program.

Doyle comes to Huntsville after spending three seasons at in-state foe Montevallo.

In two seasons at Montevallo, Doyle served as the team's defensive coordinator and helped coach seven GLVC all-conference selections and the GLVC Goalkeeper of the Year in 2018 and 2019. His day-to-day responsibilities in addition to coordinating the defense included film breakdown, practice planning, player development, creating scouting reports, implementing a strength and conditioning plan, and monitoring student-athlete academic progress.

Ensuring that his student-athletes were also impactful off the field, Doyle coordinated the team's community service efforts that saw the group log over 6,000 hours of volunteer work.

Prior to his time at Montevallo, Doyle was an assistant for one season at Huntingdon following a stint at St. Mary's College of Maryland. Doyle's first collegiate job was at Shorter where he served first as a graduate assistant before climbing the ranks to ultimately serving as the interim head coach in 2015.

Doyle earned his bachelor's degree in sport management from Belmont Abbey in 2013 and also owns a master's in business administration from Shorter which he received in 2015.
