I am the oldest of three siblings growing up on Long Island. I have been playing lacrosse since kindergarten and was a competitive gymnast until eighth grade. Gymnastics taught me the value of hard work because you can never master a routine without incredible focus, repetition, conditioning and mental strength. I use these qualities in everything I do, whether it is lacrosse, school, cross-country and all of my other interests. I volunteer with the Camp Anchor and Backyard Player programs which provides activities and support to those with special needs. Working with special needs children and adults is such a rewarding opportunity and I love being able to help those with special needs develop new interests and abilities through various programs and the arts.
