Courtney Grove

Courtney Grove will begin her twelfth season as Women's Lacrosse Coach in 2020-21.

Grove spent four season as head coach for the program from 2008-2011 before being named the first assistant coach in the history of the Marquette program. After two seasons at Marquette, Grove returned to Seton Hill for the 2014 season.

Last season, the Griffins reached the PSAC Tournament for the fourth straight season. Five Griffins earned All PSAC honors while Keagan Pontious was named to the IWLCA All Region Team. The team was also named an IWLCA/Zag Sports All Academic Team and seven individuals were named to the academic honor roll.

During the 2016 season, Grove helped the Griffins to their third straight appearance in the PSAC Tournament. Two players earned All PSAC honors and Emily Fagan was named an IWLCA All Region and second team All American, giving the Griffins an All American for the third straight season.

In 2015, Grove led the Griffins to their most successful season ever. The program recorded 14 wins, hosted a PSAC playoff game and advanced to the PSAC Semifinals for the first time in school history. Grove was also named the Westmoreland YWCA Coach of the Year at their yearly awards banquet. Four players earned All PSAC honors, two were named all region and All ECAC and Emma Simmers was named an All American for the second straight season.

In 2014, the program recorded 13 wins in their first ever season of play in the PSAC and hosted a PSAC playoff game for the first time in school history. For her efforts, Grove was named the PSAC Women's Lacrosse Coach of the Year. Five players also earned All PSAC honors. Grove also coached the first Women's Lacrosse All American in school history.

During her first stint with the Griffins, she had four student-athletes named All-East Coast Conference and had five ECC Players of the Week. Tamasitis guided Seton Hill to the program's best record at that time of 9-7, including a 4-3 mark in conference play, during the 2010 season.

The Boyertown, Pa., native competed collegiately at Duquesne University and earned All-Atlantic 10 Conference Second Team honors during her senior season and honorable mention as a junior.
