Recruit Profile
Coachable, good team-player, supportive, spirited, and has great Lax IQ.

I have been playing lacrosse since I was 8. I play defense for my club and midfield for my school. I am best at defense, especially man-on-man. I am a starting varsity player at my school. I have played various sports throughout my life, including track, tennis, archery, basketball, and field hockey. I now only play lacrosse because it is the one sport I have found a true love and appreciation for and am choosing to focus on. I am dedicated and outgoing in all aspects of my life. I try to ensure that I can learn more and develop my skills while also building relationships and keeping fun present. I help to encourage and comfort my teammates on and off the field. I am not afraid to receive constructive criticism and take responsibility for my mistakes, so that I can grow. I am always looking for a positive side in negative situations. For example, I look at losses as an opportunity to reflect and put forward what I learned so that I can do better the next time. I anticipate each season because they bring new lessons, competition, and excitement.

In my time outside of lacrosse, I focus on school, my family, and my friends. I currently have a 4.25 GPA and take all honors classes. I hold an academic scholarship at my school and I also contribute to multiple volunteer service projects around my community (soup kitchens, item drives, assistant coaching at youth camps, etc). I participate in many extracurricular clubs at my school that support my interests, including True Crime, Adventure, Mental Support, and PACE (Pacific Asian American Cultural Enlightenment). I am also a member of my class cabinet. I enjoy the classes I take, especially American Sign Language, AP Psychology, and Forensic Science. I plan to major in Counseling Psychology, so that I can be an outlet for anyone emotionally or mentally in need as well as help resolve their issues. I aim to get my Masters and PhD degrees as well. On my days off school, I enjoy spending time with my two older sisters and my friends. Some activities I like doing are baking, painting, reading, exploring nature, listening to music or podcasts, and going out to cities. I love to do anything active or crafty and am always open to traveling or trying something new.
