Dave Lamont

Profile
Dave Lamont joined the Muhlenberg men's lacrosse coaching staff for the 2015-16 year.

Lamont was instrumental in the success of the Albright program under current Mule head coach Jake Plunket. He served as assistant offensive coordinator as well as the goalies coach, faceoff coach and box coordinator on game day, helping the Lions to a 57-17 record in their first four years of existence.

Lamont graduated from West Chester University in 2005 and was a member of the lacrosse team during its transition from an NCAA Division II program to an NCLL Division I program. Before the transition, he was part of Division II ECAC finalist team in 2002, which fell to now-Division I program Bryant University.

A two-year starter as a two-way midfielder, Lamont helped West Chester's NCLL lacrosse team to consecutive final fours and a national championship game appearance in 2004.

Lamont's coaching experience includes four years as an assistant varsity coach (2008-11) and two years as an assistant junior varsity coach at Boyertown High School. He helped guide Boyertown to four straight conference playoff appearances and two berths in the district playoffs.
