Profile
Devyne Doran was announced as the Rams Head Women's Lacrosse Coach in November of 2021.

Devyne also serves as Intramural Coordinator and Assistant Building Manager.

Doran comes to Framingham after serving as the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Mitchell College since July of 2019, guiding the program through pandemic shortened 2020 & 2021 seasons. Prior to taking the reins of the lacrosse program at Mitchell, Doran served two seasons as an assistant coach at her alma mater Eastern Connecticut State.

"I could not be more excited and honored to become the next women's lacrosse coach at Framingham State University. Thank you to Athletic Director Tom Kelley and Deputy Director Carey Eggen for giving me this opportunity," said Doran. "I can't wait to continue to grow a championship culture for the women's lacrosse program at a school that is truly focused on academics and providing a positive student experience. I am humbled and blessed to become a part of this community, and am so proud to be a Ram!"

Doran joined Eastern's coaching staff in January 2018 under the direction of head coach Christine Hutchison, assisting in all aspects of the program while also serving as recruiting coordinator. During her tenure the Warriors produced eight all-conference and nine all-academic selections, and in 2018 Eastern finished with an overall record of 11-7 and advanced to the Little East Conference finals.

Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Doran was a four-year starter at Eastern where she was twice named LEC Defensive Player of the Year (2016, 2017). She was a four-year All-LEC pick on defense, earning first-team honors in each of her final three years. As a senior she became the program's seventh selection to the IWLCA/STX Farewell Lacrosse Festival North-South Senior All-Star Game, and was also a second-team IWLCA All-Berkshire Region pick.

A native of South Kingstown, R.I., Doran graduated from ECSU with a degree in sociology in 2017.

Doran will take over a program that went 8-2 in 2021 winning the MASCAC Regular Season Title for the second straight season.
