Profile
The American International College men’s lacrosse team has named Dominic Moriarty an assistant coach.

Moriarty will assist in all aspects of the program.

Moriarty comes to AIC with a wealth of experience both within and outside of lacrosse. Behind the bench, he was a student assistant coach at Alderson Broaddus University for the 2017 season, where he worked in scouting opponents and developing defensive strategies while also hosting recruiting visits and campus tours for prospective student-athletes. In game, he ran the substitution box and also influenced adjustments to both sides of the ball.

As an athlete, he played at Alderson Broaddus as a goalkeeper in 2016, helping the team to nine wins, the most in program history, and was voted a team captain. He had previously played at Essex Community College in the NJCAA, where he helped the team to the NJCAA Final Four.

Moriarty also has significant experience managing a budget thanks to his work with Netflix. As a production coordinator on popular shows Pose and The Politician, he managed set building projects ranging in budgets from $10,000 to $5,000,000.

Moriarty has a bachelor’s of business administration from Alderson Broaddus, and an associate’s of liberal arts from Nassau County Community College.
