My name is Dominic DJ Santiago. I am a Class of 2024 Lacrosse player. My athletic journey began with the most common sports here on the West Coast, Baseball, Soccer, Basketball and Football. It was in the 7th grade when I was first introduced to the game of Lacrosse. Since that introduction, my family and I can attest to the simple fact that there have been very few days that I have not picked up the stick to work on one aspect of the game or another. I have been playing lacrosse since the Fall of 2018 both as a midfielder and attack, depending on where I am needed most. Over the years, coaches have noticed my field awareness, stick skills and speed out on the field. I continue to work because I have more to prove. I believe I can be a benefit to some University out there and that there is a right school out there for me after I graduate in 2024.
In the Classroom I have a 4.0 GPA, I pride myself in that as well. I have received my Academic Letter and Academic Pin in my first two years as a High School Student Athlete with over a 4.0 GPA.
With all of the above mentioned, I do believe that the combination of my work ethic both in the classroom and on the field, along with my coachability, team-first mentality and ability to apply lessons learned will help me fulfill my goal of getting the opportunity to play lacrosse at the collegiate level.
