Recruit Profile
Coachable, strong Lax IQ, Positive attitude, Can rally a team together- team player, multi sport athlete.

I started playing lacrosse in 2nd grade and immediately fell in love with it. I started playing club lacrosse the summer before going into 6th grade, and my love of the sport grew even more. I started to develop my skills and became one of the leading scorers on my team. I am working on developing my vision to be a more effective passer. I am very comfortable dodging with both hands and working hard to ride. Next year I will be taking multiple honors classes, running the Public Affairs department in ROTC, being on the swim team and being a youth coach for the local rec lacrosse program

Drew is one of the most competitive, receptive and coachable team players I have ever worked with. He is simply more than eager to improve on a daily basis. Drew plays with passion and discipline at all times. His level of aggression is perhaps his strongest attribute. He very effectively dodges with purpose and tenacity from all over the field- all whilst maintaining an obvious/impressive LAX IQ. As a multi-sport athlete, Drew is in tremendous shape as well. Drew's previously mentioned aggression, coachability, LAX IQ and conditioning are all extremely great compliments to his outstanding stick skills. Drew is abundantly capable and confident in utilizing both his right hand and left. Defenders typically do not know which of his hands is his dominant which creates ample offensive opportunities. Drew's ability, discipline and overall competitiveness is years ahead of a most players his age, and I truly look forward to witness what his future holds; I cannot say enough.

Drew is one of the most coachable kids I've worked with in my 8 years of training. As a coach, it's reassuring to know whatever I give Drew as "homework" ends up being a part of his training between our sessions. He shows up for every session better than before, with a deep desire to learn and push himself as a scorer and a feeder. It's also great to see how Drew takes the different drills that we work on and applies it on the field. His film is filled with different plays that directly correlate with our training. Drew is extremely ambidextrous and has a bag of tricks when dodging from X, the wings, and even now up top. It's been a pleasure to work with him and watch him excel, but it's even more rewarding to hear how he gives back to the next generation of players in his town by teaching them ways to boost their game as well. Email Ty@AthletesUnitedLacrosse.com for a full endorsement. This kid loves lacrosse more than anything!!!

You will not find a young player that wants it more or that works harder than Drew Barocas. An attackman with great vision and stick skills that is willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win. Lacrosse is truly a passion for Drew.
