Coachable, disciplined, hard working, multi-sport athlete and good student
I have been playing lacrosse since I was 5. I began playing club lacrosse for FCA when I was 8. I was a starter on my Varsity team as a Sophomore in 2021, where I was named All-League Honorable Mention and was top 5 in takeaways in Section 5. In my 2022 Junior season I made All-League Second Team, All Greater Rochester Watchlist and was 3rd in Section 5 in takeways. I have a strong lacrosse IQ and pride myself on man-to-man defense, footwork, communication and ability to play in transition. I can play both close defense and LSM. As well as lacrosse, I also play basketball and Quarterback in football. Academically, I have a 3.7 GPA while taking multiple advanced classes, I scored an 1140 on the SAT and made High Honor Roll. In addition I am currently Class President and a member of my schools Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

I have had the pleasure of coaching Drew for two seasons. I will be fortunate to coach him for one more after that. Drew has grown into a stellar defenseman. He took on the roll of our starting LSM as 10th grader. He has become a player other teams’ offenses need to plan around and avoid. He regularly matches up and deters other teams top middies. He is solid on ball and is working to take the ball away regularly. Drew has great awareness off ball. He is a vacuum on ground balls and because his stick skills are so strong he is a threat in transition. He is extremely driven and that shows in his desire to never pass up an LSM run. He is one of the most coachable players I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He is respectful and is always open to receive criticism and coaching, he knows it will help him grow. Drew’s ceiling is very high and I know he is capable of exceeding it. Any program would be lucky to have a player like Drew.
Jason Mordaci
Drew is a highly motivated and talented student-athlete. Drew has been a dedicated long pole on our Schroeder Varsity team for 2 seasons, and has established himself as a leader on the field. Drew has great defensive fundamentals (approaches, checks, footwork) and he has the ability to shut down other teams top midfielders. Drew has the ability to play down low defense as well, he can cover any position and that is what makes him so versatile. Drew can also run the field offensively, carry the ball in clears, and finish opportunities to shoot and score. Drew has very solid stick skills, and great on field awareness. It's all these traits that make him a respected player and leader on our team. Drew will make a fantastic addition to any collegiate program he continues his career at. He will get the job done in the classroom and on the field, and will compete with the best of of the best.
Mike Kelly
Drew has been the backbone for the defense on our FCA 2023 team for the past 4 years. He is our coach on the field. Drews knowledge and skill set will make him a tremendous collegiate Lacrosse player.
