Whatever hurts now can only make you better tomorrow is a saying that I use to motivate me. I can be the vocal leader of the team but I prefer to lead by example. Being focused during training helps me be prepared for games. I think I am good at in game communication and seeing opportunities on the field. I look forward to challenges and competition and I absolutely hate to lose. When I play with or against someone who is faster, quicker, stronger, has better stickwork, footwork or defensive posture I get excited to use the experience to push me.
I enjoy being on a field with my teammates and coaches. I know the work that I put in everyday and I enjoy displaying it on gameday. The friendships I have with my teammates come from working hard with them on the field and laughing so hard with each other off the field that we can rely on each other to do the best we can and pick each other up when it is needed.
I am a center middie and enjoy being around the play at all times. I like taking the draw, setting up a strong defense and being counted on by my team to help us all stay intense in the game. I think my stickwork is one of my best assets and I want to show off my footwork and decision-making all over the field.
I have played lacrosse since Pre-K (11 years) and this is my 7th year with Check-Hers Elite. I have always been on the midfield and the first three years played up with the 2023 team.
