I am new to lacrosse starting January of last year, my coach saw me on the football field playing for the football team and encouraged me to try out. I quickly gravitated toward goalie. As a former baseball catcher, the idea of blocking shots on goal seemed like a good fit. It was way harder! But as the season progressed I got to play not only with the Freshman team, but the JV as well. My save rate continued to rise. As a student, I am currently getting straight As in all of my classes including 4 honors classes. I love math, science and history I am particularly fond of military history. I am a leader in student government at school. I am also active with the stage crew at school I like building things especially mechanical. I would like to study engineering in college. I participate in many service projects this summer I will be going to Colorado to work at shelter for two weeks with other students from my school. Service is a big part of who I am. I also swim competitively for a club team. I like swimming, but I find the training boring, so I dont swim at HS. I have two brothers my youngest is a 3rd grader and I tend to babysit a lot. My oldest brother is in college on a baseball scholarship and I would love to follow in his footsteps, although in lacrosse. Both my parents are my biggest fans and supporters.
